“ A really lovely afternoon tea for me, my mum and 11 yo daughter. We had some dietary requests before which were no problem and very much appreciated, the food was delicious (especially the sausage roll and quiche!) and there was a great selection of sandwiches and cakes. We had a lovely afternoon and the service was brilliant - highly recommend and we will be back! ”

“ Little tree is a very nice little spot for a quick stop in. I had afternoon tea and the service was very pleasant. I will have to dock the place in having a bathroom that is not accessed inside the building and the payment system is not as fluid as you'd get somewhere else. The loose leaf tea was standard and the cakes were ok. Price was very reasonable for 2 hours ”

“ I ordered 2 takeaway afternoon teas, 1 regular and 1 gluten free. Wow the presentation and food was amazing. I struggle to find good GF afternoon teas but The Tea Tree exceeded my expectations. Will definitely go back, HIGHLY recommend. Thank you for making it special xx ”

“ We visited The Tea Tree today for a special Valentines afternoon tea. It was delicious! There were so many gorgeous homemade savoury and sweet treats to eat, we were full to the brim so couldn’t manage it all but we were able to take the leftovers home which we enjoyed this evening. All of the staff were welcoming and friendly. They made such an effort to include our baby daughter, so very thoughtful. We are so lucky to have this charming tea room on our doorstep. Very good value for money and we would highly recommend a visit. We will definitely be back for another yummy treat soon!! ”

“ The most absolutely delightful little tea shop. The food was delicious and generous proportions. Next time I'll need to book afternoon tea. It's adorably decorated, simple but sweet. I loved that children were welcome to tea. Three woman upfront, maybe the owner, was incredibly sweet and attentive despite taking care of everyone. Please go support this amazing little place. ”

We were totally stuffed so had to take the cakes home in a box for later! Very good portions of food all fresh and delicious. Fresh pots of tea readily available- highly recommend going here for a wonderful afternoon out! Staff were so attentive and friendly didn't feel rushed we could take our time to eat drink and chat very good value for money! ”

“ I recently celebrated my mum’s birthday with a standard afternoon tea at this incredible venue, and I can’t recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and professionalism. The venue itself is stunning—elegant with a vibrant, welcoming energy that immediately made us feel at home. The staff were friendly, attentive, and truly made the experience special, with the manager being particularly welcoming and accommodating. It felt like every detail had been thought through to perfection. Now, let’s talk about the food—absolutely amazing! The selection was perfect, offering a great variety of choices, and the homemade touches made everything feel like it was straight from a family kitchen. Each bite was a delight, and you could really taste the care that went into every dish. The presentation was impeccable, and the table setting itself was beautiful, creating a truly refined and relaxing atmosphere. The choice of teas was endless, which was a real treat, and the flavors complemented the food perfectly. It’s clear that this venue takes pride in offering a high-quality experience from start to finish.
